Christian, great idea here… this is one that I haven’t heard of yet… thanks, Brandon.

Thanks @Brandon_Schaefer:disqus. Just got word one of my blogs was approved for Apple News. Glad to see it’s a pretty quick process.

Wow, this is really cool! I appreciate that you took the time to add screenshots, really helped me with setting it all up!

So glad to hear @angelaford:disqus! A pretty easy setup process. One of my blogs (this one) was approved. My second one was denied for Apple News because I had left a few test posts up.

Oh, you have a second blog? I’d love to subscribe to it!

Thanks for sharing Christian. Do you think people are finding your blog from this avenue, or is it merely providing another medium for consumption to your existing base?

@longlivetheinternet:disqus, they haven’t released iOS 9 yet – you need that and Apple News, which is in the update. For now, this is getting your site setup so that when it launches, your site will be ready. As for people finding my blog this way, I think it’s another medium for consumption and people not reading my blog should start to find it. Existing users will either continue reading through my email newsletter, an RSS feed reader, or whatever other tools they use.

Thanks Christian. I figured as much. Thanks for the help. I went ahead and submitted our blog. The more distribution, the merrier.
