I am changing jobs and the business I am leaving has a page which is attached to my personal FB. How do I keep my personal FB page and delete the Business Page?

@disqus_11c25CRggq:disqus, do you have other admins on the Facebook Page? If you remove yourself, the page becomes orphaned and there isn’t a way to get the page back.

I suggest adding another admin to the page (make sure they are a super admin). Then have them remove you as an admin. This will transfer the page to them and it won’t be on your Facebook Profile anymore.

I have deleted my facebook page 4 weeks ago but it is still showing and I cannot log back in. What do I do?

@disqus_KFtnjkmcj5:disqus, have you tried clearing your browser cache? It’s possible that it’s still loading the old site.

As far as logging in, deleting a Facebook Page should not disable your Facebook Profile. When you try to login, what error message do you get?

Also, do you have a link to your profile and page that you can send? This way I can check each one out.

I created a Fan Site for my U.S. Army Recruiting Company and it stated I had to log in to FB to create this Fan Site. I logged in using my personal FB account and now the Fan page is forever linked to my personal page. I rotate out of this position in 18 months and my HQs must have access to the Fan Site. I do not want my personal page accessed by anyone else. How do I disconnect this fan page from my personal FB page?

    • http://www.christiankonline.com Christian Karasiewicz

Very easy. You want to add another Facebook Page admin to the page. Then have them remove you. DO NOT remove yourself before you get another admin. Otherwise everyone loses access to the page.

Here are instructions on how to add admins to a page. Be sure you add them as an admin as well and not an editor so that they have full access to the page when you transfer them.

I have duplicate Facebook pages for my business. I do not have access to one of the pages b/c it was created by a former employee who no longer works here and we do not have the login info. How do I go about permanently deleting that page since I have no way of logging in?

Hi. To have a Facebook Page deleted that you aren’t an admin on, you have to go to the page and click the … button and report it to Facebook. You may need to do this a few times, but eventually it will get taken down.
