What this means is that instead of promoting a post to just your fans, you can go a level deeper and reach their friends too (just by checking a box)!
Not only does this mean you’ll be making your marketing dollars work harder, but you’ll also have the opportunity to grow your network because your posts will now be shown to new people who don’t yet know about your Facebook Page in addition to your current fans.
How to promote posts to friends of fans on your Facebook Page
- Visit your Facebook Page
- Navigate to a post you want to promote – click the promote button
- Decide on how many people you want to promote a post to
- Check the box that says promote to friends of fans
- Click save
