Do you create Facebook Ads for your business or for clients?

Have you ever needed to turn off Facebook Ads campaigns?

This article is going to teach you how to turn off Facebook Ads within Facebook Ads Manager.

Why turn off Facebook Ads?

I manage Facebook Ads for clients and often get asked how to turn off Facebook Ads.

This happens because they were using Facebook Ad coupons and wanted to test out Facebook Ads.

Other reasons why they want to turn off Facebook Ads are because they have finished running their ads campaign.

Knowing how to stop Facebook Ads is important to know how to do for the following reasons:

  • Don’t get charged for Facebook Ads you didn’t intend to run

How to change Facebook Ads currency for accounts you manage

Do you need to change Facebook Ads currency for your Facebook Ads? It’s not exactly where you expect it to be.

The Problem with changing currencies

For those of you who run Facebook Ads for your own business or for someone else, there may come a time when you need to change the currency. This way you’re not losing money because of exchange rates.

Instead of looking in Facebook Ads Manager, you need to look somewhere else, because Facebook doesn’t let you change your currency there.

It’s somewhat understandable why they didn’t put it in Facebook Ads Manager in the first place.

Chances are you login to your own Facebook Profile to create Facebook Ads. By having it in your profile instead of in your Facebook Ads account, you can quickly switch your Facebook Ads currency in one place for all of the ads accounts you work with.

To change Facebook Ads currency, follow these instructions.

Remember, if you are managing Facebook Ads for other pages, be sure you are managing Facebook Ads the right way. This way they are being billed for their ads instead of you. You can also easily change currencies depending on the ads account you are working with.

How to overcome the 20% Facebook Ads rule with the Facebook Ads facebook text overlay tool

Are you tired of wasting time creating Facebook Ads only to have them rejected by Facebook, forcing you to start over?

While you cannot regain the time you lost, with the Facebook Ads tool, you can test your Facebook Ads before submitting them.

This way you can focus your time and energy on others important areas such as ad targeting.

How does the Facebook Ads tool work?

When running Facebook Ads, Facebook has a 20% text rule. What this means is that your ads cannot contain more than 20% text. But what constitutes 20%?

Instead of spending time creating Facebook Ads, uploading them, and waiting to see if they are approved or rejected, you can get your Facebook Ads approved faster with the help of the Facebook Ads tool.

The Facebook Ads tool or Facebook text overlay tool is a tool designed to let you upload a Facebook Ad you plan to use and determine if it meets Facebook’s 20% text rule for Facebook Ads.

Example of a Facebook Ad
Using the Facebook Ads tool to check for 20% text.

As always, before creating any ads, be sure you have read through the Facebook Ad guidelines. This way your Facebook Ads won’t get rejected for other reasons such as the type of content your ad is about.

To get started with the Facebook Ads tool, I’ve included a short video and instructions below.
